What we collect
We collect information you submit through buyer briefs, supplier applications, and contact forms, including names, email addresses, company details, product requirements, and messages. We also receive basic technical request data needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
We use submitted information to review sourcing requests, evaluate supplier applications, respond to questions, improve the beta, prevent abuse, and—only when a buyer opts in—consider a referral to a suitable manufacturer.
When information is shared
Buyer contact details and project briefs are not sent to manufacturers unless the buyer opts into introductions and CloudTextiles identifies a potential fit. Hosting and backend providers process information on our behalf as needed to run the service. We do not sell submitted personal information.
Retention and security
Beta submissions are retained only as reasonably needed for marketplace operations, security, and legal obligations. No online system is risk-free; avoid submitting trade secrets or payment information through these forms.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted. Use the contact form and select “Privacy or data request.” We may need to verify your email before acting on the request.
Analytics and payments
The current beta does not include advertising trackers, third-party marketing analytics, checkout, escrow, or payment processing. This notice will be updated before those practices change.
